Brooklands received an emergency call out to attend a spillage an oil spill clean-up at a car garage in Manchester.

The Clean Up
We received an Emergency call out to attend a spillage an oil spill clean-up at a car garage in Manchester. An internal pipe had leaked over the inside of the garage covering the ceiling, walls and floors and spread to the exterior forecourt areas.
The Brooklands team were onsite within 24hours. The first task was to make the area safe which included turning off all the electrics and taping up electric sockets so that no water would leak into the electrics during the clean.
Once the areas was safe, we carried out a de-grease and steam clean of the areas. The clean up too a team of two just four hours. In this instance we did not need to remove the waste, but Brooklands are able to take waste away safely when required.
