In 2015, a newly built L-shaped primary school in Nottingham opened its doors, providing pupils with a modern, high-quality learning environment. The building featured fresh render, which gave it a bright, clean appearance.

By 2020, five years after completion, the render had become heavily stained due to algae growth and airborne contaminants. With no maintenance carried out since installation, the surface had lost its original aesthetic and required urgent attention.

Brooklands were called in to provide a tailored render maintenance solution. The contamination was too extensive for cleaning alone to restore the render to its original condition. Our team implemented a multi-step process:

Work took place in November 2020 during half term, allowing us to complete the transformation with zero disruption to pupils or staff. The team worked onsite for five days, and upon return, the school community was greeted by a building restored to its former glory.
