Could you imagine sleeping outside in the UK in November with nothing more than a sleeping bag?
On the 11th November 2021 Luke Harvey, Brooklands MD did exactly that swapping his warm bed and comfy pillow for a night under the stars to raise money for homeless in Nottingham.
Luke was shocked by the number of homeless people on the street of Nottingham and wanted to make a difference. He decided to spend an unforgettable night under the stars, sleeping alongside fellow business leaders who united to fight homelessness.

Lukes sleepout was part of a CEO Sleepout event an organisation that brings big-hearted business leaders, business owners and senior executives together to join a CEO Sleepout across the UK. All the funds raised get used in your city so Luke knew it would go directly to the homeless in Nottingham.
The events run around the UK bringing business leaders together to make a stand against homelessness. So far more than 4800 executives have raised £3,000,000, donating to over 100 charities, changing countless lives.
Luke Amazing Effort
The event gave Luke a real insight into the issues surrounding homelessness, the lack of warmth, homecomforts and a place to call home. It showed him that as business leader you have the power to help make a difference and a change.
Sleeping on the ground for a night may be a little cold and uncomfortable, but it will be worth it because you could change somebody’s life, and inspire you to lead with a greater purpose.
Over £1000 raised!
Luke raised an amazing £1,165, well over his £1,000 target.
A fantastic achievment for a great charity.
