Brooklands is a unique business who specialise in a range of services through utilising an elite workforce of fully trained, knowledgeable technicians accompanied by a selection of specialist, and often custom built, equipment which our customers benefit from. Our bespoke job management software allows each client to receive the best possible service 24/7.
We stand out from others in our industry by focusing heavily on continuous innovation, working tirelessly to develop and improve our own specialist equipment, setting up our vehicles and facilities in a certain way and designing and delivering in-house training courses to be able to provide solutions for technical works that our clients in-house teams or competitors aren’t often able to deliver. The word ‘can’t’ is not in our vocabulary!
A happy team is a good team! Over the last 10 years I have worked hard to create a great culture at Brooklands and take great pride in leading a committed team and providing development opportunities for people.
I am also a big fan of giving back to our local community and regularly engage Brooklands in activities. We have attended events as a team such as preparing and delivering meals to those facing homelessness as well as charity fundraising challenges to support causes close to our hearts like CEO Sleepout and even Skydives!
Although I was involved in the construction industry when growing up, I left school with no idea what I wanted to do, and it is fair to say that education did not suit me in my younger days! At the age of eighteen, I had saved up enough money to buy a van and began doing tip runs for people, it was great until I got banned from all waste sites in Nottingham for going too often!
From that episode, I decided to book my ideas up and I went on to gain an NVQ 3 qualification in advance craft and learned how to restore heritage properties, build houses, and alter commercial buildings giving me an array of knowledge, but this wasn’t enough and I knew I had more value to give the world!
Since then, I have gone to great lengths to study the technical services Brooklands deliver and have built a great team of people who are all committed to Brooklands vision of enhancing the appearance and longevity of places and buildings throughout the UK.
