Street Cleaning for North West Leicestershire District Council
Brooklands Revamp Town Centers throughout Leicestershire with their Street Cleaning Service
North West Leicestershire Council employed our specialist deep cleaning services to clean the high street pavement areas in Coalville and Ashby-do-la-Zouch.
Working with the Tom Stanyard, the Town Centre Support Officer, together we carefully planned our work to help keep disruption to a minimum. Street cleaning was carried out in the evenings shutting the roads after 9pm when shops were shut and there were few pedestrians on the streets.
The cleaning was paid for by the Councils allocation of the Government’s “Welcome Back Fund” a post pandemic initiative to help Councils across England create and promote a safe environment for local trade and tourism, particularly in high streets as their economies reopen.
The cleaning
Our team worked on this project for 2 months. The cleaning included steam cleaned the paving, removing chewing gum and re-sanding block paving areas throughout the towns.
The steeets look totaly revitalised and ready to welcome the public back with a clean and safe environment after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Tom and the Council were delighted with the results and received so many positive comments from local businesses and the public visiting the towns
